W.R. Wilkerson III comes from an illustrious publishing family. His father, Billy Wilkerson, started The Hollywood Reporter in 1930, the magazine that quickly became the most powerful news organ in the entertainment industry. Wilkerson himself followed his father’s footsteps into the publishing world in 2000, when he formed Ciro’s Books, Inc. and published his first title, The Man Who Invented Las Vegas.
